Multi Player in VR

Tales of Escape was the first Multiplayer experience that I had in VR and I thought that it was really cool and has a lot of potential. It was an escape room style game and was really neat.

Most of the time I spend playing games is with another person, so to see that more in VR would be amazing. I absolutely love playing multiplayer games because it adds so much more to the game for strategizing, teamwork, communication, and then there is bonding happening with a real person which is one of the most important things in life, in my opinion.
However, the headsets are expensive so having two would be even more so, and we simply do not have the space to have two VR spaces set up in our home. So I think as nice as it would be to play together in VR, for now it really ins't realistic unfortunately.
When we were playing together in the room we faced some of the physical problems of playing with someone in the same location. I myself was worried about walking into someone or hitting them, which made me less reactive in the game, as well as drastically less immersed in the game. I also found it very weird to hear the person in real life but also over the game. Both of these issues can be solved by playing in separate spaces away from each other, in two separate rooms really for it to work well.
So let's say we can have two VR's in a household, with two totally separate locations to play in. Now we can really enjoy the VR experience and be immersed while playing with others. There is really so much potential here.
To me the ultimate game experience was always just a dream, a fantasy, something I read in a book or watched in an anime. A Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game in Virtual Reality. This is still way too advance for now, I hope to see it in my time but am not sure if it will really be able to happen still, it seems still far away.
But scaled back I would love for a Multiplayer RPG for the Vive or Oculus. I have always stuck to the vive for my concepts, because it is what I am most familiar with however on trying out the Oculus Quest I was very impressed with how light it was and that there is no need for the stations on the walls, so this would make it easier to play in a home because you don't have to set them up.

So my concept is a high fantasy story where you and a few friends, could form and adventuring party and move through a world and story, exploring, solving puzzles and defeating enemies.
The user would be able to pick a class, there would be maybe two types spell casters, a fighter with a one handed weapon and shield, and then a ranger with a bow.
I am not sure how great the characters models would be able to be but if high res models could not work it could be shadowy like people, maybe the idea of the story is to get your physical bodies back.
I think it would be cool to have the movement work differently for different classes, all people can move by moving in their space, but the default movement besides that would be the one similar to the movement style in GORN where it is described as "pulling the world towards you". The teleportation movement would be associated with magic, so the spell caster could use it, or you need a consumable spell or magical item to use it.
Having a multiplayer game like this, for me would really up the VR experiences for me. I would love getting lost in a virtual magcal world with the people I like most.
