Mobile Quest VR

This VR experience is designed for the Oculus Quest with the hand tracking hand and finger recognition system. At a glace the Quest seems to be similar to the previous VR systems I have spoken about but it had a huge difference of having cameras in the front of it so you do not need the "lighthouses" mounted to a wall forcing you to play in a limited space. It also recognizes objects in real life with these cameras. There are also no wires to hold you back either.

This will work fine with the Quest as it is now but in the future it will be even more immersive and convincing once they have the finger and hand tracking.
This VR Experience would be built in long portable trailer where it can be brought to events such as fairs. The user would put on the headset at one end and then walk through the exhibit. In VR they will see the entrance to a cave hidden by tall plants. Pushing past the plants inside they will move into and through the broken up cave there will be spots with moss covering the walls, light beams breaking through from above and even a waterfall. Vines will hang down that may brush against them as they move through and a tree will be in one area where the cave has a skylight and warm sun spills in. They will be able to wander through the environment freely.
All of these things will be replicated in real life to feel like what you are seeing in VR. The air will be cooled to replicate being in a cave. There will be constructed cave walls that are moist with a mossy feeling material in spots, directed heat lamps to create warm spots where the light is shining through, misters near the waterfall and even an occasional drip of water here or there. Fake plants will also be installed where they can reach out and touch them like where they enter. Vines will hang down that may brush against them as they move through and a tree will be in one area where the cave has a skylight and warm sun spills in.
This experience is focused on touch and feeling. People will be encouraged to explore the spaces. As my projects before I hope to inspire awe and wonder, showing how magical and beautiful nature can be.
