Personal Project Update 9

In the previous blog post I had written that my goal was to finish all characters in all of the illustrations. I changed my mind on how I was going to work moving forward, I have been working on stages for this project but now that we are getting closer to the end of the semester, to assure that I have some complete paintings at the end, I am going to go through them one by one and finish them up individually.

So this week I completed the first one (still may go back and make a few more adjustments if I have time). One thing I will fix however is how the face is reading of the character approaching the campsite, I think there is a weird look going on from his facial hair.

I also worked on the background of the next drawing as well. Focusing on the trees.

I am hoping to have this one completely finished by next week.

I did a tiny bit on the background for the third as well.
