This week I finished the one owl girl drawing. I really appreciated the feedback about the eyes. I think I have improved them. I am still worried the background is too simple and too dark especially with how bright she is, I think the contrast is odd? I tried to add more detail and brighten the branches to help bring them forward to make her look more grounded/ they were on the same level, but I am not sure it was enough? I don't know if maybe she just needs to be re-positioned a little? Also I liked how the rat came out but I believe it gets really lost. :(

Here is a work in progress of the next one I will have finished next week.
I worked on the body and the legs. Originally her body was more red but I decided I wanted it to match the head piece she has so I went over it again.

Here is the VLD piece that I did this week as well.
This one was the hardest one I have done so far because it really relies on the base and shape of the human underneath. Which I struggled with a little bit on creating my own.

For my other classes this week I came up with an outline for Parkers class where I will be doing a character turnaround each week with a little bit of a backstory. For the final for his class I am thinking of either doing a set of characters, doing a more detailed colored version of some of the characters, or maybe going off a prompt from him.
Derek's class I watched Bandersnatch, an interactive experience on Netflix. It was really cool. I was surprised how many choices really didn't matter, but it felt like there was still so much player agency.
I am also almost finished with my novel so I can do the outline for the paper next week.
